Product Description

The twelfth installment in the main Assassin's Creed series, this video game takes the gamer into merciless confrontations in the Viking Age.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - at a Glance

  • Plunge into someone invading England, instead of the other way round for once
  • Medieval open world
  • Bloodthirsty gambling system

Plot

Moving away from the ancient Greece of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and the Egyptian sands of Origins, this installment takes us to somewhere altogether more familiar. Blending history and mythology, this title sets its plot at the end of the 9th century - it's Blighty, but not as we know it. Welcome to the Viking invasion of Great Britain. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has you controlling the character of Eivor, a Viking at war against King Alfred the Great and other medieval Anglo-Saxon rulers.

The objective: to found a colony and then set out to conquer new territories in order to book your spot in Valhalla (the paradise of the Nordic warriors).

The Universe

With this open world game, the gamer is transported to a medieval setting that stretches from the North Sea to the kingdoms of England. With either gender possible, your character can hunt, play drinking games or take part in typical Nordic contests such as flyting (a kind of Viking rap battle). Assassin's Creed: Valhalla also offers the opportunity to create traditional shops and workshops, from forges to tattoo shops...

Battles

This title represents an innovation compared to previous episodes of the Ubisoft saga: the character is able to wield two weapons at the same time (swords, axes, shields...). To defeat your enemies, the hero of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla can also alternate brutal assaults and elaborate strategies, such as forging war alliances with others.

Compatibility

This video game exists in several variants. Compatible with Windows PCs, it's also available for the following consoles: PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X .
